Although I don't know anyone well on that list to be able to say I'm not so sure about that. One thing I've learned over the years is that those who brag, bully others, or otherwise act superior usually aren't. It's often just an act.

One thing I've learned is that people take 1 piece of information, eg "person x bragged but it was an act" and translate that into "every person who I think 'brags' about a specific thing they accomplished is a liar".
All you need to do is the tiniest research on anyone on that list for example, to see that each of them know their shit (no pun intended for CS). A lot of successful people are time-conscious, and don't feel the need to make sure they tip-toe around threads in case they sound arrogant to some random stranger. Just like all sections of people though, some are gentler, for want of a better word, in their approach.
To dismiss people by the way they say things, instead of on what they are *actually saying*, is a surefire way to miss out on invaluable information that is still given out freely, regardless of delivery method.
I'm a mouthy cunt at the best of times, but I learned long ago to stfu and listen when someone with more knowledge than me starts talking. I don't always stick to it, but I damn well try - it's in my best interests
Not saying you have to do any of that, or you can't have who you like on your ignore list...I'm just throwing this shit out here to help whoever feels like taking any notice of what I just said

To me if most of your posts are bragging about how you are a big shot or putting down others you should at the very least back that up in some way. But even then that does not mean I want to listen to them. I notice the truly successful and intelligent people in the industry tend to be more humble and often soft spoken. That's probably because you've never been attacked/targeted by any of our generous selection of cowardly trolls... who hide behind fake nicks while they attack you, your name and your reputation. And because the mods here don't give 2-fucks about trolls (unless they are the ones being trolled), the ignore list is a must-have feature. If you start having any issues, I highly recommend it.
My list is populated with many cowards who hide behind fake nicks while they attack others. People whose life mission it is to troll GFY picking fights with folks and just being an argumentative drama-queen for no reason. Life is full of negative assholes and so is GFY. None of these cowardly trolls will ever say shit to peoples face so not much you can do about that. They prefer to hide behind their keyboards like pussies, while they're all mouthy & shit. And the mods here love losers like that because it provides hours of entertainment for those who love to watch innocent people get bullied by worthless assholes.
Cheers to you for never needing the ignore feature and hope that you never will. But if you one day need it - it's there, and it works beautifully
