I think it's very rude of people to ask that question but apparently in North America it's very common and people don't think twice about asking it, regardless if they know your situation or not. For all they know, we may not be able to have kids and its a hurtful thing to say, this isn't the case, we simply don't want kids but still, the ignorant fucks who continue to ask me that, don't know this.
TL;DR: I'm not having kids, ever!

I'm having my first child in October, and for years my wife and I had to deal with people asking when, when, when? Like our life is empty because we don't have a 2.5 children like everyone else does. For us, it was kind of a painful subject because of some medical issues we had to sort out.
Anyway, I always dealt with those nosey people by turning shit around on them...
Nosey Asshat: So when are you two having kids?
Me: Why do you ask?
Nosey Asshat: Uhhh...uhhh
It stops most people in their fucking tracks and they change the subject.
