    Uninstalling as we speak.

Anyone else get super slow PC after install of this update?

Norton's been bloated shit for years.. I think I've gone a good 7 years without using them for anything more than optional scans from time to time

To think that anything Norton related would be good now just goes to show that you, my friend, have been in the dark for quite some time.

As the above poster stated... it has been nothing but overbloated crap for many, many years. System lockups, reformats, etc etc etc.... the list goes on.

For some reason this company chooses not to fix it. I personally would touch any Symantec branded product with a 10' pole. Heed my warning.

Norton sucks ass.. as the others said it's bloated crap. Last time tried Norton virus scanner it would make my CPU processes surge to 100% every few seconds if I opened up a program like Photoshop.

if you are after a virus scanner use nod32 (search it on google) it's the best one out there and is updated daily.

I think I tried them about 10 years ago and decided it was too much for my 4 meg of RAM.

they've even managed to fuck up good old ghost and partition magic which traditionally were the greatest tools on the planet... it seems everything norton has put out in what like the past 5 years is overpriced, bloated garbage
