TBH, I don't know what this means. I do know that the "there's no such thing as bad publicity" theory is not a law or even a rule. It's a hope to turn a lemon into lemonade. That's not seeking out lemons so you can get bad publicity.
Bilzerian could have been a Hugh Hefner sort of playboy here and apologized mostly, then since he tossed the girl, toss her $50k too. WTF difference does it make, he prolly paid his *I'll do it for cash money* attorney that much to craft that POS letter. Think of the PR from millionaire playboy gives porn chcik $50k while crazy party in private jet to cabo. Finally, Bilzerian could offer that attorney's services to the girl and cover the cost of her going after whomever is liable for the on-set issues.
