    IM a little confused about the Economy.

    Every day some ass hat is announcing that we are headed for a recession.

    Today, Ford announced 100million profit , and thats over what was forecast.

    Pepsi announces a quarter profit rise.

    and in the pas few days there have been many more.

                      Companies can still be posting profits while the overall economy is going into a recession. Ford bought out s shit load of retirements and did assorted other cost cutting measures. Pepsi deals in junk foods and water. So forth.

                                          By the way, that $100 million profit is still a drop in profits. Even if it was a full-blown recession, that doesn't mean people don't make money.

                                          You could have 100 companies. Out of those 100, 60 could be close to broke. That still leaves 40 companies making profit.
