I'm not looking for much at all to be honest.
Ideally non adult where I can put a wordpress blog or two with about a dozen pages.
Reasonably reliable. Virtually no bandwidth or diskspace.
I could go for a free host I know but I figured for a buck a month I don't mind paying.
I could do with several such hosts.

Adultking, I'm not looking for good, I am looking for cheap. I am already with Certified / naked hosting which do a great job of running my main sites. This hosting is for other "sites" I don't want associated with my main domains.

Actually I know of a few companies (at least for mainstream websites, not sure about allowing adult content) that have $1 hosting that is pretty decent. If he just needs to throw up some quick websites, blogs, etc then he doesn't really need much.Comment

Hah, $1/month is crazy yes, but I don't think he wants to host his money sites on these cheap hosting accounts. What sign up ratio are you getting or what do you expect to get?
These sites are only good for new domain parking that you won't promote.
If you want to make any money you need dedicated dabbling will only lose you money even if it is $1 invest in yourself and spend more as any little success will see your site locked up or paying more dollars in additional penalty bandwidth.
$1 will get a domain hosted and it will only take one of the hundreds hosted to crash your site too.Comment
