You and your wife are thinking about giving control of your investments to an accountant. You dont want to, but she convinces you based on the accountants reassurances that he'll be prudent and wise. He's the most important, influential accountant in the country. He has information you can only guess about! So you agree. The accountant embezzles your money and skips town never to be seen again.

Did you vote for the embezzelment? Yes or No! No in between allowed! No justifying allowed, no common sense allowed. Did you vote for the embezzlement or not?

Clinton voted with almost everyone else to let Bush be the decider, based on him being president and privy to information he claimed he had that PROVED WMD. He was a fucking liar and the fact that his team of professional fucking liars fooled 98% of the senate and congress, and 60% of the people who believe to this DAY that Saddam was responsible for 9/11.. that fact does not allow you to go back and rewrite history. There was never a bill before any governing body that said "if you vote YES on this, we're going to war tomorrow". Bush lied. And the fact that media now ignores the facts of it and simply spews "she voted for the war" doesnt mean you're allowed to become the dumb person that the news tries to dumb things down for.

It's very simple. She voted to authorize the President of the United States to wage a war on the assurance that he would let the UN weapons inspectors finish their job, and ONLY use the authorization he was given as a LAST resort. He fucking lied, there simply is no two ways about it.

So did you vote to authorize the accountant to be prudent and wise with your investments, or did you vote for the embezzlement? Is it fair for me to say you voted for the embezzlement because a third party fooled you and subsequently commited a crime? Where are peoples brains when they're not directly in their asses anyway? Reading comics?

It's fair to say Clinton along with 98% of her colleagues voted to authorize president bush to wage a war based on his reassurance that it would be a last resort. It is not fair to say that Clinton and 98% of her colleagues voted for the war. They are entirely different things.

It's yet another false premise that people want you to buy into. You're only fooling yourself if you arent paying attention.

What about Obamas record of voting "present" on bills in his own state? Controversial bills which if voted Yes or No, would paint him into a strict position. Thats very inconvenient when you know you'll be running for president. So you vote "present" instead. That way you dont have to flip flop, you just stay uncomitted just in case the wind blows another direction and you dont get fucked up by your own "yes" vote back in your home state. Very shrewd, very calculating. The fact that we dont know jack shit about what this guy would vote for on anything at all... is critically important.

And BTW on topic, who cares what reasons people use to vote. You cant say suddenly it matters when it never has before. I think most people buy into the sound bites that their favorite candidate puts out as talking points. On both sides, for all candidates. Your only hope is to educate the one person who's brain you have control of. So make sure it's out of your ass, and not pressed into a comic book. Elections are important no matter what kind of person you are.

No other religions matter besides Christian in the Presidential race.....

And NOT DISTANCING yourself from religion like Clinton isn't the same thing as playing the Baptist Preacher card and speaking in front of the Falwell empire JUST NOW on CNN....

That's what the Republicans do....You can try to argue away the "Religious Right" all you want and try to ignore the elephant in the room all day...The elephant is still there.

Christian is not a religion. Baptist, Catholic, Pentecostal, Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian, Protestant are examples of religions . . . all of which happen to be Christian.

If Republicans only voted for those of the same religion as they, there would be a huge number of Republicans with no one to vote for.

BTW, most Democrats are Christian as well.

Did she?? I thought she (and everyone else that had to vote on the matter as opposed to sit on the sidelines and snipe) voted to authorize the use of force in Iraq... That's not war... Congress has to declare war.. I don't remember that ever happening... So didn't Bush (and his crew) basically lie to absolutely everyone and overstep his authority and take the US to war all on his own?

I could be wrong as I didn't pay too much attention to everything that happened since it was obvious Bush and the gang were going to take you guys to war no matter what.
