A story that may or may not be relevant - Apart from one or two examples there is no reason you can not drink with antibiotics - The reason why it was said in the first place is because of sexually transmitted illness - If you has Syphilis for example and you got drunk you would be more likely to fuck before being cured and spread it...
A big exception is metronidazole (Flagyl) - That will make you sick with booze.....
