i can't believe they didn't start moon...seriousl, he IS there best defender. and what lost the game for them??? defense, or the lack of it. i don't care how barnani played last year in the post season, he hasn't deserved to start since february. i also wouldn't start ford, b/c as fast as he is, he doesn't d-up like calderon. my starting five tonight would be rasho, bosh, moon, calderon, and parker. but sam won't do that, cuz he loves ford, and the organization has put the fire on him to play andrea.
Mitchell is proving time and time again he's an indecisive coach. I like him and all, I think the players like him too, but liking a guy isn't going to win us a championship.
Make sure you roll around on the ground first, get it a bit dirty.
It's what Vince would do.
I still love Vince, Raptors fans gotta get over it and stop crying, not many NBA guys want to play in Toronto anyways. Its a fact of professional sports, players change teams.
Carter is the best Raptor of all time!!!! He holds most of their notable team records and took them to the Playoffs three years in a row.
Look at the East record this year, I mean come on. With the exception of 4-5 teams the rest are shit, compare the numbers to the Western teams.
Long story short - Toronto will never have a winning team because no one wants to play in Toronto.
Sucks but it's true!

Not to mention all the charitable work he did for the city of Toronto!
Man, changing teams is no problem. Nobody complains about that.
It's the way he went about it. He didn't man up and just say "I want a trade" he SUCKED IT UP on the court for a long time at the end of his stint here, and visibly wasn't playing his hardest. He even told the media after he left that he wasn't giving it his all.
We gave him a $96 million dollar contract, for him to not give 100%, in a professional league, for a professional team, because... He didn't feel like it?
He went to NJ and instantly he was playing better, scoring more points, and DUNKING AGAIN.
It was night and day.
Anyways, how is New Jersey doing in their playoff run this year?
PS: We all loved Robbie Alomar until he spit in an ump's face, right? You can fuck up all those good feelings with just a few bad actions.
Howard has no offensive game, he's still raw, make him put it on the floor and he becomes vulnerable. He gets all his points from dunks. For the Raps to win they need to keep Howard off the glass, push him 5 feet away from the basket where he's mediocre at best. And play perimeter d. I don't keep track of either team with any regularity but that's the key to beating the Magic.

Vince Carter had the talent to be the best and most dynamic player in the world - there was a brief time when he and Kobe were said in the same breath - look what has happened to their careers since. Vince is a momma's boy, he has the respect of nobody in basketball, neither from his fellow players nor knowledgeable fans.
he'll go down in history as one of the greatest wastes of god given talent ever.
the Raptors disappointing season shouldn't be pinned on Sam Mitchell - Bryan Colangelo can take credit for it. he's a great general manager but he's made some mistakes, Bargani being the biggest. there's no toughness on the court or in the locker room.
Losing Garbajosa for the entire season and not replacing him with somebody similar and Bargnani's regression is what doomed this year's Raptors.
I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!
Why the fuck couldn't they just pick a young black guy who grew up on the ball court? I don't get it.. Every time they pick some dude that they want to TEACH HOW TO PLAY BASKETBALL!!!
Rudy gay? Brandon roy? I believe those were our other options.. What's wrong with them! The #2 team said they would have taken Bargs had we not though.. But still. I think go with the black guy.
