    straight to tours of really big proggie. WTF?

                                  Where on the search page are they coming from.

                                  I see ratios go from 1/50 for 1st place listings to 1/4000 for 8th-10th on many differant terms. For every spot you are down you lose buyers to the clicks above you. If you sent that much traffic i'm sure you realise this allready, but i saw particularly rough numbers on a couple sites in the last 3 weeks and it was from them dropping several places while the update happened.

                                              unfortunately se traffic ain't what it used to be, but I haven't seen anything that bad, but se traffic these days is comparable to tgp traffic of the past, unfortunately nothing gets the 1:20 ratios anymore

                                                              sending it directly to tours has never really worked for me....I prefer to send it to a landing page and then to the tour, and my ratios were much better.

                                                                      My guess is the keywords you're using are all over the place, not 1 niche specific right? either way, its probably better to setup a landing page that links to your tours instead of straight redirects. That will qualify the traffic a lot better and should hopefully improve your conversion ratios.
