When I was a kid I wanted to be a cartoonist, I was a huge National Lampoon magazine fan their gag cartoons were dark and intelligently funny - the best American gag cartoonists were in The New Yorker, this guy Sam Gross among them, he also was a regular in the National Lampoon.
This one is his take on an Indian fable about 6 blind men who encounter an elephant, each one has his own perception of what an elephant is.
The original artwork for this classic I see sold for $20,000 in 2010.
