So I go to buy the new M3 coupe...

The one I wanted had these ugly 18" wheels on it... they had another one there with the 19's I wanted...

Building your own the 19" wheels cost you an additional 1200... these fuckers wanted me to pay $3750 to swap the wheels from the other car onto the one I wanted.

i guess its not the same thing because the other car is listed as having the 19's... but i didnt want that color, etc.

i wanted a specific model that had the 18s on it... i said put those 19s on the other car on it and i'll take it

then they went through this long process and was like ok but its gonna cost you an extra 3750 to take those wheels instead of these 18s

No way would I pay this, just stick to your guns. Leave them your number tell them if they have a change of heart then to call you. But tell them you won't be waiting long as you have a test drive in a Mercedes booked and I bet they'll call you within 3 days. Especially as we're coming to the end of the month, the salesmen want their targets.

I recently bought a BMW Z4 and the dealership bent over backwards for me. They bought the car I wanted from another dealer, gave me it for the sticker price at the dealer and delivered it 200 miles to my house. The original dealer wanted me to drive 300 miles to pick the car up. They threw in a couple of extra things as well. All because I just kept telling them I wouldn't deal with it.

there are some decent BMW dealerships but since its hard enough to find 1 BMW dealership nearby good luck finding anything close to compete with them... Lack of competition means you either by from that dealership or you don't get the BMW so they don't treat you as good as say the ford/gm/dodge dealer on every corner you can get to compete

I read somewere when the latest M3 came out dealers were adding on over $30k for themselves on the RRP!

I would go and buy a car somewhere the dealer will treat you right then drive it over to the BMW lot and make sure they see you in it
