Would be fun if they did and you could switch between currencies and play the market a bit.
Then again the conversion rates would probably be so far off normal that you'd need a huge swing to make any gains. I'm sure they'd manage to charge a fee for it as well.
They can barely do p2p transfers, and you wan't them to expand into currency trade?
It's not like opening up a Forex account Lots of non-US banks offer multi-currency accounts and I know that these debit card companies can do it too. As I understand it ePassporte just communicates via API with a 3rd party system for all these transactions anyways. Likely this feature is supported by this 3rd party system.
US banks strong arm you into keeping everything in dollars unlike most of the rest of the world where you can get accounts in various currencies and transfer money back and forth. That is why ePassporte offering multiple currencies would be very beneficial to American webmasters like myself who have no simple option for transferring dollars to other currencies (i.e. Euros)...
