    Someone is using my email address to spam

    Some fucking ass hat out there is using my email address to spam people and now I'm getting a fuck ton of bounced emails and undeliverable emails to my box. This is fucking ridiculous, is there anything I can do about it, besides killing my address?

      Nothing you can really do, so I'm told anyway. It has happened to me a few times.

              ditto....couple times in the past two weeks.

              just set your mail client to delete anything with returned.. undeliverable.. blocked.. automated...delivery status notification... etc.. in the subject.

                  Happened to me too. I'd suggest contacting the police and charging the IP owner with Identity Theft and wire fraud. It is a long shot. Since your email will now be in the spam filters, ask for damages as well.

                              happened to me a couple months ago - bounces coming in by the hundreds all day - i just crossed my fingers it would peter out and it did.
                              I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

                                      Mine also goes thru that a ton... HATE it.. Mailbox fills with bounced shit. Sucks since I do like to see when my legit emails get bounced but cannot since they are buried in a ton of crap ones.

                                              The government tracking down, investigating, and indicting someone on federal charges is not even remotely related to Joe Blow calling the local police department and reporting that his email address is being spammed.
