If I start a forum my site how do I handle members posting links to tubes?

I meant to type "if I start a forum ON my site how to I handle members posting links to tubes?'

I have never had a forum or had to deal with these issues and do not want to have sponsors get mad and do not want to be accused of someone profiting off piracy so I would appreciate some feedback without attitudes or accusations. Thank you.

Just state it clearly in your TOS, give first-time offenders maybe a warning and deletion of said post, multiple offenders get the banhammer. Easy. Or am I missing something?

ok thanks, but obviously many videos are uploaded by sponsors nowadays because they have deals with the tubes. Do I allow those and just delete the posts if it is obvious the video is full length and is uploaded by someone other than the sponsor?

Let them. If they want to let them. You'll build a better community that way.

FreeOnes has built an amazing online community without have to suck the cocks of thieves.

If you allow it your forum will be another pirate bay in no time at all...You will have bots posting and not real people.

We make it clear people cannot post to theft sites. We also take precautions not to allow IPs with bad reps to join.

We encourage people to post their work and post links to their sites containing work they have created in promoting their own content or that of sponsors.

Strictly speaking not only are you protected under the DMCA, but you probably shouldn't get a DMCA request at all since a request to the tube site in question would remove the video everywhere it's syndicated.

Personally, I would at least have a blacklist of the well known sketchy tube sites just for my own sense of moral responsibility. If you become a haven for copyrighted content that you can't control I'd pull the plug, but trying to micromanage it to chase isolated abuses will probably just be time consuming for you and won't put a ding in the overall problem of theft.

Be prepared to heavily moderate or get moderators on the payroll if you plan on not letting them post links to whatever they want. If you aint prepared for that, then don't even start a forum to get yourself into that type of situation. And not for nothin, tube links would be the least of your struggles to get your forum rockin and at the same time under control. When you step into the forum world, shit gets real...

I dont remember seeing any forum posting tube links, most of them are filelocker based. But you could turn this problem into advantage-allow tube links only for the ones which pays for traffic,so you gain something that way.

GFY allows YouTube embedding - so there's your answer right there.

Most of the adult boards collaborate with filelockers, I mean that biggest forums like planetsuzy etc. You can easily notice that, because they have specified list of allowed hosts. So users there can not post links to other filelockers, alone tubes.
