I guess it depends on how you define the word empowered. There is one definition that says, "to promote the self-actualization or influence of." In that case, sure, she is empowered. She understands the power of female sexuality and is using it (promoting it) to her advantage. She isn't ashamed of what she is doing (she claims so I will take her at her word), and she seems to have a good head on her shoulders.

It is possible that she is empowered. Claiming ones sexuality without shame is very empowering to males, females, and everything in between because it is such an intrinsic aspect of life and being.

Far-L I guess there is the concept of self-empowerment. I looked at it like being empowered or empowering. Either way if it gets your shit off and it's with full consent I say go for it.
