It's 404 now, but was probably browlock ransomware. It loads 150 iframes on top of each other so it looks like your browser is locked, but it's not really.

My sister had something like that come up while browsing net on her laptop. Turns out her computer picked up a trojan somewhere. I had a lot of fun trying to clean that shit up...

Hopefully you didn't pick up the same thing. Can't remember exactly what it did, but I remember it disabled windows updates for one. I also think it modified the startup to further fuck around with you.

That's what it sounds like.

It's a nasty bitch. Took me awhile to clean it off an older system about a year ago. Had to use Malwarebytes and a few others to get rid of it.

I think that's different from the trojan I found on the sister's computer. I did use Malwarebytes to help get rid of it though.

Edit: Just download and run Malwarebytes to be safe.
