There have been a lot of countries in the last few years that have gone through revolutions. Only one so far was invaded by another country and that's Ukraine... Even Syria has not been invaded by another country, despite it being an all out civil war.

There is no problem on the "invaded" territories (Crimea), all the anarchic madness is in Kiev and other territories (e.g. storming of vodka factory). Welcome to Ukraine

Actually there were several Ukraine troops shot and wounded as well as one or two being killed so far.

I'm not going to say that Russia didn't pull off a well planed move as they also managed to steal about 80% of Ukraine's Navy assets as well as a lot of it's air force however what Russia has done will end up costing it billions over the next several years as the west limits it's business with Russia. In the long run Russia will lose far more than it's short term gains.

Russian army has always been in Crimea (up to 25000 troops), so it never needed to "went in". As about the Crimean people, so over 90% of them were considering themselves as Russian citizens. These are just raw facts
