This is how NATO and the States act everytime and everywhere:
1) Start a civil war.
2) Make sure the real genocide begun. More victims - better.
3) Bring the freedom and democracy by means of humanitarian bombing with enriched uranium.
4) Mission accomplished.
A pretty nice plan, isn't it? As I said, I do not support the annexation of Crimea (despite the fact that over 90% of Crimeans support it), but I have to admit that NATO never been even close to the Putin's success there. No one bomb was dropped and nobody was killed during the "invasion". I believe that West have a lot to learn

Actually there were several Ukraine troops shot and wounded as well as one or two being killed so far.
I'm not going to say that Russia didn't pull off a well planed move as they also managed to steal about 80% of Ukraine's Navy assets as well as a lot of it's air force however what Russia has done will end up costing it billions over the next several years as the west limits it's business with Russia. In the long run Russia will lose far more than it's short term gains.
