america. although alot of people don't understand that answer because of the mainstream companies/beer like budwieser and miller or whatever. here in colorado we have the highest brewery per capita in the entire country, and i can safely say with all my heart there is some amazing beer here. im talking beer that competes with guiness. which is brewed in the same bar im getting it off the tap from.

Don't get me wrong, there are some great choice's made in this thread.
Belgium, German, Australia, Ireland etc...
From the hundreds of U.S. micro-brews, I can have a differant Great beer each an every day of the year. That's why I choose the U.S.A.

i just had a couple of really nice czech Pilsener Urquell - would be hard to give that up - lol
and germany has like 1300 breweries with i don't know how many different types of beer - that makes probably 10 years a different beer each day - lol

Spaten Optimator tastes like the beer version of a train wreck. You may as well drink Beck's Dark or just drink some diarrhea.
But I have to pick Germany. Partially because I'm a Kraut. My favorite beer comes from a small brewery I used to live 10 minutes away from in Germany. I also love Franziskaner Dunkel.

I have this on going argument with my old roommate about the high quality piss he drinks that he refers to as American beer.
I'd go Stella, which I think hails from Italy. And then maybe down to mexico.

The United States.
Can get just about any variety of beer, in the world, here via microbrews.
Also, selecting a different country would mean I'd have to move there to continue to appreciate my own homebrew. :-)

A lot of my family is from St Louis and I still live in Missouri, but I can't say I'm a huge Busch fan.
The last couple days I've been enjoying some Schlafly's, though.
And we have a microbrewery downtown that makes some pretty tasty stuff. I cringe when we go for dinner and I see someone ordering a bottle of Bud Light instead of the house beer that was brewed 20 feet away.Comment
