Not out of reach in this day and age.
The Rolling Stones are in their 70's and were on an Asian Tour (they just postponed some dates because Mick Jaggers girlfriend of 14 years died).
Next they will be touring Europe in the summer. So hell yes...you can not only do what you love to an advanced age, but you can do it and be in great shape at the same time (when people say drugs are bad, I have two words: Keith Richards! He's still alive and in great shape)
