Actually, I set the company up in 2 modules, production and website. We have managers responsible for each and they have their teams below them. So I am not involved in too much of the day to day, and only speak with the 2 managers, and 99.9% of that is via email. I am certainly not someone who micro manages, my head would literally explode if I was. I do enjoy going on location though, enjoy being around the crews, but I am a bit of a loner when it comes to work. I can't work when others are around me as the slightest interruption will make me lose my trail of thought. My attention span is very narrow too, I can't watch TV and rarely watch a whole movie. I honestly blame YouPorn for that and watching 100's of scenes a month, doing my homework looking for a new niche, or how to improve on whats already out there.
And this morning, was supposed to be a great morning, our new doctor was shooting his first scene for FakeHospital.com. The 3rd email I opened was the one about the article and it REALLY bothered me and with every one of their responses, my day got worse.

Ahh puppies! I am planning on getting one of those critters soon.....
I'm actually the same way (needing to work alone). For the past few months I've been at home with my family attending to some medical needs so, relatively-speaking, there's more people around (speaking of relatives heh). Locking myself away for a few hours is the only way to get shit DONE it seems. I can't imagine if I had a staff around, always pestering me for this or that...
Get yourself one of those King Solomon rings that says 'This Too Shall Pass". Worked for him; anytime he felt stressed he just looked at his ring. :D
