In the world you live in you would be out of a job.
If you think Youtube and Myspace are exempt from controlling what is put on their site then so are other sites that allow surfers to upload content. Think on it a bit harder guys. One site has to control it's uploads because it suits you and another site does not because you want freedom.

Must be my moronic brain working overtime Brad.
yeah... you're moronic brain can't see the difference between "parenting" and "youtube doesn't show 10 year old girls drinking booze and fucking donkeys because they are acting as parents to your children"
Now the poor girl has to be home schooled and she was an honer roll student and varsity cheerleader. I hope she sues every one of thos scum bags parents into bankruptcy.
Nice how one of the chicks' myspace pages now says "FUCK YALL! ID DO IT AGAIN!!" and
"TO ALL OF YOU HATIN BITCH ASS NIGGAS SENDING ME BULLSHIT HATE MAIL...FUUUCK YOU. ILL BEAT YO ASS TO! BRING IT BITCHES DONT BE JUST SAYIN IT! AND IF YOU GOT SHIT TO SAY TO MY MOTHER THEN FUCKIN SAY IT TO HER. SHELL KICK YOUR ASS TO!"

Looking at that page I am thinking it has to be a fake, between the picture quotes and the dumb ass blog, no one can be that fucking stupid. Well done, though.
It seems that with each passing year girls act more and more like guys. Not a bad thing for those looking for no strings attached sex; not a good thing if you don't want a cum bucket as your girlfriend/future wife.
marriage worthy women are a thing of the past, an extinct species, they do not exist. in a thousand years they will teach in schools the story of this strange right of passage known as marriage...
everything in the world started going down hill the moment beating your wife and children for talking out of turn became taboo...

haha....there's some truth in that statement.
But i'll tell you this. There's a huge problem these days when the "new way" of bringing up kids is all rosey and politically correct. You're not even suppose to spank these days.
When i was growing up, any disrespect to my parents, my elders, my teachers, i was slapped silly across the room...literally hit..and hard. And if my dad didn't feel like that was enough, i was smacked down even more when i got home.
I believe there has to be a hint of fear instilled into kids...fear of the repercussions of their actions. The problem with kids today is there is no fear instilled into them. There's no fear of what their parents will do to them. Parents today are pussies and their idea of discipline is sending the kids to their room (with their video games and shit). It's fucked.
There was so much bad shit i stayed out of as a kid and i'll be honest....it was NOT because i though it was the right thing to do, but because i was scared shitless of what would happen if my parents found out!
My buddies would break into houses and do some wild shit...and I wanted to as well. At 10-13 years old, you don't care about right and wrong. You care about fun.
And I would have join them if i wasn't scared of what would happen if Dad found out.
You do not need to hit a kid to have them respect you. It is all relative. You want your kid to fear punishment for bad behavior that does not need to be a spanking. My child is scared to death of "time out." Which is sitting on the stairs. Kids want to make their parents happy. So there needs to be a punish reward system just like in real life. Do something bad get a "time out" do something good and maybe there is reward, maybe there is not.
The reason these kids do not have that fear is because they are stuck in day care since they are months old. They do not even know their parents. Their parents are people that are there in the morning for an hour or two, in the evening for an hour or two and sometimes on the weekends.

nothing keeps a kid in line like a little bit of fear...
Honestly, how else was I going to teach him?
If I told him cars weigh a lot, or that they're made of denser material than we are, or even that mass X velocity = momentum, he wouldn't learn ANYTHING! He would just look at me and say "dada, you funny!"
I just had to run him over once, and he learned all this at once.
Besides, he had two legs, he only really needed the one he has now.

First, i never mentioned anything about getting respect through hitting. I would never suggest such a thing. Gaining respect is whole nother topic.
Secondly, i'm also not speaking of discipline for toddlers or kids under the age of 10.
But since you mentioned 'time out' I really don't think a 10-15 year old boy is going to be scared of a 'time out' on the stairs....I mean, if a 'time out' was my punishment at that age, I would have most certainly joined my friends breaking into houses, cars, and who knows what else i would have done.
Those kids who beat that girl in that video knew what they doing and that they were taking it way to far. Obviously kids will be kids and need to learn to deal with life on their own, etc etc.
But when your kid nearly kills some girl while the other kids beat on her, and then sits in prison laughing about it (like those kids were), i'm fucking sorry...then your kid needs big time fucking beating like no other.

I agree with you there on the daycare thing...half these kids have no idea who their parents are or who their authority figure(s) is.

Look at her family..I doubt any of them work, let alone have enough welfare money stashed up to put their kid(s) in daycare.
Just hearing the child's mom talk offers insight as to why this girl acted like this. They are classless, don't believe in fighting with words and reason, and were probably all victims of domestic abuse growing up. Just seeing her blatant disrespect for all things not "white" shows that she was brought up in a hateful environment. Also, he hypocrisy with the whole white pride thing and her apparent love of hip hop and it's dialect shows her lack of intelligence and ability to grasp very simple concepts.
Yes, I'm generalizing, but do you really think I'm that far off in this case?
Must be wonderful to live in your world where it can be left to ALL parents to look after children. In my world we have self discipline but when it fails we have the back up of the State.
There's an African proverb that I think most of us in Western culture don't believe, know or adhere to:
It takes a village to raise a child.
I.e. It's *everyone's* responsibility to raise children properly. Not just the parents, but the teachers, the community, the extended family and so on. If any part of that group fails in their responsibility then the everyone in "village" ultimately suffers.

well... it used to be that way. it used to be that someone else's parents would knock you on your ass for being out of line. it used to be that every classroom had a nice, big paddle hanging next to the black board. it used to be that everyone expected children to be respectful and everyone reinforced that point.
the boundaries between acceptable and unacceptable behavior was extremely clear and the risk of crossing that line far outweighed the rewards
then what happened?
suddenly, swatting a kids ass is child abuse... not discipline. suddenly schools are getting sued... suddenly kids are suing their parents... suddenly kids are running around with MAC-10's and gunning each other down... suddenly a cop tells a kid to shut the fuck up and he just laughs and says "make me"
families are falling apart in the western world because they are just not necessary anymore to the tribes survival.

The main burden lies with parents, they are the prime reason for this. But sadly some parents, like the ones of these girls lack the skills needed. I'm saying society also needs to take some control. One persons "Freedom of Speech" has led to another persons lack of freedom and persecution. We as a society need to set standards and limits.

You said it so much better than me. IMO YouTube are part of the "village"

Great post. Your last sentence is certainly food for thought.
Kids beating up other kids is not new, neither are gangs. My father was a strict disciplinarian and I was known to hit other kids and belonged to a gang. And I got a whooping when I went home if my father found out. He also was a tough guy and would of been in a gang if WW2 had not interrupted his childhood.
What is the new is the lack of self control of some kids and parents. Sadly the truth is obvious, some parents do not have the skills to bring up their children as they see fit. It would be nice to think we can suddenly turn bad parents into good parents over night. Not going to happen unless you apply a lot of pressure on the bad parents and limit their freedom to bring up their children as they see fit. Another freedom that's good in the right hands and bad in the wrong hands.
Like the freedom to exempt hosting companies from being responsible for what is on their servers. In the right hands it's good and safeguards companies being caught out. In the wrong hands it allows tube sites to put up pirated content or content that is plainly wrong.
What is also new is the phenomenon of kids beating up other kids simply to put it on the Internet. Complete strangers are being attacked by groups of children whose only motivation is to put up the resulting video on social networking sites.
So what are the motivations of the social networking sites? Profit pure and simple, they need these clips on their site for the free publicity and the views. They will not monitor their own system because of a loop hole in the law. And the cost of doing it.
Unless forced to.
I have stood on the barricades and protested and exercised my freedom a lot more than most and been beaten by the police for my efforts. We only have to be wary that by giving one person his freedom of expression and speech it does not limit another persons freedom.
What a fucking sad video. All the poor girl wanted to do was just leave, but the other white-trash dumbfucks wouldn't even allow it. I hope she gets her revenge on all of them, through the judicial system or other means.
Nothing she could have done to those six other girls could have warranted the beatdown she got. Hell, if somebody pissed me off, and they wanted to leave before I beat them, I'd at least give them that dignity.
It is quite shocking and punishment is needed. The guys that kept watch should get it tough; pussy bastards. The editing of the clip within the news broadcast is way more shocking than just the clip itself. I seen some beatings; way worse than this one and I stand by Bruce Lee when he said, "If you are not tough enough, hire a bodyguard." The world is a dangerous place that you need to be prepared for.
So you agree with me. One persons freedom to not get disciplined has led to another person abusing that freedom.
i don't agree with anything you originally said. a parents job is to parent. period. end of story. a parents job is to instill a sense of morality and right and wrong in the child so that they can make the right decisions in life. its not the job of youtube.com to teach children, to teach them values, to teach them discipline and to teach children right and wrong.
had we all been born into Soviet Russia, then we could all argue the responsibility lies 1/2 with the State and 1/2 with the parents... but thats not the case. the USA isn't Europe. The USA isn't the Soviet Union. the USA doesn't have a long history of dictators and monarches, the conqueres and the conquered. the USA doesn't have a long history of turning to the king to solve the problems and as such, HAD very different attitudes towards authority and the state than most europeans. the USA was build on the very concept of personal accountabilty and this country is crumbling as suddenly, in the last 20 years, everything suddenly has a root cause that is nothing more than a way of avoiding any accountability.
we now live in a society where a fucked up kid, who suffered from multiple, sever emotional disorders, who was supposed to be on medication and in therapy can walk on to a university campus and kill 32 people and everyone can say his parents are "victims" instead of the very first line of defense, and that should have been liable.
i'm not going to get into all the bias between EU thinking and US thinking... my point is simply that these ways of thinking have underwent a profound change in the last 20 - 25 years and the direct result has been the almost total destruction of family and society.
your solution is to make youtube parent children
my solution is for people to start taking fucking responsibility and everyone demand better from people as they used to.
i'm tired of a country that needs a warning label on a hair dryer telling people not to use it while in the shower and even more tired of idiots that demand it, with the backwards liberal mentality that "we need to protect you from yourself because you're just not responsible for anything and thus, not accountable for anything and quite frankly, we can run your life better"
just as welfare destroyed black families, this newer attitude is destroying an entire country.
you apparently have no idea of what "freedom" is and you keep using this word even though it has zero application in any part of this story or the issues.
