Warlords, pirates, corrupt governments...people that just keep making babies they can't afford to feed and raise.

My view of Africa is a bottomless cesspool that no matter how much money you throw at it, the overall improvement is very small.

I still vividly remember the millions raised at Live Aid in 1985 that were funneled to Mengistu Mariam and his army.
