for sure it helped they didnt make the same mistake as myspace and give people control over the design

and i can't imagine any other color combination for FB

PS: green is very "medical" for me

I like neutral colours for website-designs... grey, black, white... no outspoken colours indeed to avoid taste and to stay neutral... let the content colour the site!!!!
