    I'll redesign your paysites! (Things went to shit..)

    My name is Michael! I'm 40 yrs old, and i'm a father of five wonderful kids.
    I was doing full time for one of the biggest design studios. I was one of eleven designers.
    I got another full time gig as a designer for a program i could'nt refuse.
    I made close to $10k a month, and everything was going well. My boss passed away and things went to shit.

    I've designed hundreds of paysites, and a ton of logos, headers, galleries and banners.

    Yes, i need money. But i will not work for $5/hr. I need to put food on the table, and $5/hr will not do the trick.
    If you need anything, and want to help me out a bit, shoot me an email and i get back to you "in a minute".

    Price examples:
    Paysite design/redesign: $400 (Main page and join page)
    Three paysite designs: $1k (I'll include 15 banners for free)
    Logo: $40
    Header: $50
    Banners: $10 (static or animated, any size)

                                                  Design quality are really different, some are awesome and some looks like 2$ shit.
                                                  I will never pay someone before i see his job quality and i am sure everyone else is the same.

                                                                                          There's nothing wrong with defining your market and price, essentially knowing what you are worth, but saying "I'm not cheap, I want you to throw me a bone, but I'll get to you when I get to you" is not going to win many people over.

                                                                                                  How bout doing a couple of sites for free or a deep discounted rate so you can use those as samples if you don't have any. Hell even create some fake sites as samples.

                                                                                                                                              For my personal stuff, I don't like hiring designers even with portfolios, unless they've got references that I trust.

                                                                                                                                              I've paid for designs from people that post here and the end product looked nothing like the quality in their portfolio.
