Uhh... When I am on the floor I keep a str8 mind about me and pretty much everyone around me seems to be doing the same. Except for the twinks huffing at their booth... But then, they are down the hallway and not around me.
But when I go to the parties I expect a PARTY... Yes, I actually do about 80% of my business off the show floor. That means some of the people I am conducting business with are flat out drunk, high or coked up. So long as they can remember the details or put the particulars into their PDA so we can move on to the next level at a later date, I couldn't give a fuck.
If you are that much of a pansy stay home.
How can you go against the "word of God" when it comes to sexuality and then condemn us for drug use? You either open your mind all the way or just close the door and lock it.Comment

Ok I need to jump in this one since the Montreal's Show have been mentioned and somewhat put as exemple...
First thing first, beside me and Patty, NO ONE can talk on behalf of QWEBEC Expo management...
Not implying that someone did though, but just in case
Even if drugs is so not our cup of tea, we're still open minded and, Our policy about Drug Use is pretty simple and straight forward :
1- No one should be consuming drugs (smoking, snorting, injecting, dropping, etc..) at the view of everyone or in public area.. This INCLUDES our suite...
2- What you do in your Own Hotel Room (or outside the hotel) is your business and your business alone...
3- Back in public areas (Show Floor,Seminars, Our Suite, Event's Parties Bars, etc...), Point #2 is still true as long as you can behave yourself and are not putting us (Show management, Industry as a whole, other attendees, etc..) in delicate position toward Hotel management, Medias and General public (People are judgmental about our industry enough already, please don't give them ammunitions)
4- Just a little dose (sic) of common sense
Finally, as stated by my friend Baddog : A certain amount of intelligence should be applied.

Last show I've been in montreal people were smoking joints outside the convention center between the conferences.
Give me a fucking break... off course people aren't going to do a line in front of everybody. There are public bathrooms everywhere...
Durgs are everywhere at the conventions, and in this industry as a whole and you're fucking dumb if you think they aren't.

But expressing what you would like the industry to be as a fact dosen't make it real...
the fact is that Micheal came in the thread to defend himself from what you said here... there are a lot of webmasters who wouldn't be happy with your way of seeing things
Yeah duh, I think we all know what civilians think about the adult industry, and they often are somewhat right...
Do you test your models ? Because that would be the only way to enforce this rule.
I mean casual cocaine users in private partys will most likely go to the bathroom to do their lines, it's not something you really do in public anyways.
This is an industry board... Just search for a couple minutes and you will find WAY worse press worthy drama then pornographers using drugs.
So if you see somebody doing drugs at a show, you will call teh police and get them escorted out ? Do you know how many big players in the industry take drugs ?

Can I get defensive when blanket statements are made when I ask for clarification and get a battle, why yes. I have been doing adult shows/parties for 10 years and not once I have been to a show that I didn't see drugs. I'm not talking about pot or drinking, two things you can easily do and nobody know you have been doing.
You simply only need to open your eyes and watch the crowds of people sniffing. A quick trip to any bathroom that you see 2-3 people at once go into, and you will hear sniffing from the stalls.
I don't care what the hell you do but if you haven't seen it then you have been walking around with your eyes shut.
