One of the strangest things to me...is that someone is actually working on a content sale with the express idea of "marketing" it on a message board!
I know some people think that they make a "lot of money" by posting on a forum, but damn. A starving person thinks a couple of crusts of bread are a "big meal".
Every once in a while I see a company here or there that catches my eye and I go check out their site. But I can't imagine making a message board that is 99.99% surfer trash (as in surfers that aren't ever gonna buy anything) a major part of a marketing strategy.
That's what the shows are for. To meet and learn who the real players that matter (translated: who you can make money together with). It's shocking to me that a content company would be in a panic about getting banned from here.
Why? Especially since everyone has already ruined any kind of "reputation" that he may have had here. I would think his best bet would just be to forget about this place, work hard on his product, and have a good presence at Internext.
That's what I did when I had my content company. Though how anybody is still making money with content these days I don't know. I'm glad we sold it back when we did. Shooting your own stuff is so much better.
That being said...with the content business pretty much a dinosaur (at least compared to what it was in the late 90's early 2000's), I would think it would be in a companies best interest to NOT piss people off and to be at the trade shows ready to work.
I used to sell a hell of a lot of content discs right there at the shows themselves. Don't know if anybodies still buying stuff (especially pics), but if they are, it seems to me that a content company should be focusing on that and NOT on hanging out here and fighting with people who may or may not have any value to you anyway.

Last I checked this place was called "Go Fuck Yourself". What part of that title makes you or anyone think this is a democratic place? This is a private property if you need to think of this as the real world. The people who own gfy can allow people to break the rules if they wish and disallow others to. Deal with it.
Besides, no one wants to see those excessively watermarked spam pics here anymore anyways.
