Yes, fewer illegal immigrants working equates to more job opportunities for American citizens.

I only use leather wallets and loaded with cards. Leather tends to make the cards look like shit after sitting on the wallet. Not bad for $55.00.

i dont want to be a party pooper, but swiping credit cards wont work in most other countries, you need a chip. because swiping is not secure
also i wonder how trustworthy is a company (and the NSA) that has access to all your credit card information including a picture with your signature. good luck with that.
(because they of course NEVER would access or transmit the information)Comment

I went to "pre order" one and it asked for cc info and said it would ship in the summer of 2014. It also said "limited supply". Gotta call bullshit on that one.
I think I'll wait until they are actually available to ship.Comment

Looks like no recharge capability so every 2 years gotta buy a new one. Not horrible at intro $55 price but later will be $105.

That's not really pooping on a party. Most Americans spend most, or all, of their life in the United States. Grabbing real cards when leaving the country is not a big deal.i dont want to be a party pooper, but swiping credit cards wont work in most other countries, you need a chip. because swiping is not secure

Not sure why this would make anyone more worried about the NSA than they already should be. They already have this info. ;-)

Lolz. lame attempt to pointedly suggest I'm living in fantasy land simply because I voice a concern. It's silly to think I'm the one not living in reality by exclaiming something will happen "eventually" so I should just accept it now.Comment

Could be a "patent pending" product that hasn't been made yet. Video and advance orders are the marketing tool to find a purchaser for the product.

That's not the point.
I couldn't care less if it's one card or all of them, I simply stated I am concerned about handing my cc info over to a mobile app that will store the data somewhere, I didn't say you should be concerned.Comment

you concerned about the lizard people? I only ask because I know a guy that is.... he feels the same way about digital informationComment

serious question.... I know a few guys that are over concerned about digital information and the government, they all have issue with chemtrails, lizard people etc as well
for instance the guy married to my ex-wife thinks satan and the gov will plant chips in your arm to spy on us and he won't go on the internetLast edited by Grapesoda; 02-16-2014, 09:38 AM.Comment

That looks awesome.
The only thing I see as an issue would be when you have to show ID with your credit card (stores where you don't get to swipe yourself or fast food drive ins, etc.)
How would that work?-Robbie

NO, it's not a serious question. It's an idiotic question. Target just got hacked and 40 million people's cc data was taken. I feel comfortable having a concern about how my info is stored. You don't, and I couldn't care less if you do or don't. You already stated you're getting one, be comfortable with yourself.
Your need to amplify my simple comment into some sort of paranoid conspiracy says much more about you than it does me.Comment

you set the card to the right cc and hand it over... showed that inn the vidComment

I am not sure who had the bigger orgasm ?
The credit card hacker that spewed in his pants when he saw he could get everything in one simple shot
Or....
The NSA that will now be able to track people on the move and their accounts in real time.
Or....
Apple that is going to make a fortune selling both data to the NSA and security APPs to the suckers that use this product.
The way things are going in this world I advise using cash and prepaid credit cards. At least that way the most you can lose is what's in your pocket.officially retired as of March 01 2018 but still fucking around and getting into shit.Comment

Looks interesting, but -
Here in Canada, swiping is all but gone, and replaced with chip cards. Maybe coin though, will have some kind of chip too?
Don't android phones have some kind of chip / payment thingie that lets you do almost the same thing? I know its not really possible yet but I can see all of my payment options being on my mobile phone in 2-3 years, making credit cards and debit cards obsolete.Comment

I watched the vid. But I'm telling you that if I go into a store in a Casino here in Vegas they will ask for my ID. And they won't let me use that unless the actual card (in this case the "Coin") has my name on it.
I'm just wondering about that issue with it. Otherwise looks pretty cool.
I know that people have installed a similar device on Redbox kiosk's and stolen credit cards as well.
Also...we all know that occasionally you would get a crooked waitress or bartender who would take your card and make an imprint of it.
Seems now that a crooked waitress could get a "Coin" and steal the credit cards of all her customers real easy too.-Robbie

It's certainly a clever device but having all that data sitting out there in 1 place is a concern for me.
