Actually I was saying that you did say that. It is clear that Russians hate gays. It is part of their culture like it is in many cultures. Hatred of gays still exists here in the west too but the difference is we are slowly taking steps to move away from that and can still admit that we are not perfect, and that remnants of this bias still exist.Comment

Who you are to speak for a whole country? For a very big and very different (multi-national and multi-cultural) one? Have you been to my country to speak about it?
And the last thing. How it could be that a lot of the most famous people (singers, actors) in Russia are gays/lesbians? How could the country hate gays, if homosexuals like Dima Bilan, Nikolay Baskov or Philipp Kirkorov etc have more fans in Russia than whole population of an average European country?
