    Flash or Windows Media for a New Site

    If you were to start a brand new site with all new content which video format will you go for.

    1. Flash with its H.264 support
    2. Windows Media with VC1 and now using their Silverlight support you got the Mac market.

    When you encode HD content its very hard to tell the difference between H.264 and VC1

      It has the installed used-base. What market-share has Silverlight got?

                          are you wanting what you would like or think is cool or what the customers want? Two different things. We have run polls in the members area and I laugh at what some people say in here sometimes
