I was pleasantly surprised at how many respected industry players pulled me aside at Internext last week to ask me about this debacle. Made me feel good about my reputation that even people who hardly know me but know the other party well seemed to believe every word I had written too. I wouldn't be surprised if the ramifications of this are going to last well beyond settling up.
Anyway, in fairness I should also update- I've been getting smallish payments every week or two for the last four months. I'm still owed nearly $8500 as of today though. Just waiting it out until it all gets paid off.
