Alt ending was closer to the book, where he [will] *was* the legend among the vampires, as a lone guy that stalked them - killing the intelligent or 'unevolved' ones without remorse.

cinematic release was to appeal to the masses who like happy endings.

I liked the movie, for me thought it was a bit gory. I was so sad when Sam the dog died. I was hoping he'd make it. I wasn't surprised how the movie ended, he had nothing to live for, except crazy and alone. But it was interesting to think how possible the circumstances might happen...

I liked I am Legend so I got the BR of it when it came out a couple weeks ago. I looked the Alt ending but I also liked Dooms Day.

I also have to recommend The Bank Job. Saw it last night and it was very good.
