Stargazers. Are these worth buying ??

Been looking at a cheaper, more easy to move around than a telescope alternative. These Celestron Skymaster binoculars have good reviews, but are obviously just a limited alternative to a proper scope for the night sky.

Anyone got these or anything like similar to them ??

As a fellow stargazer..The problem I would have with those - after viewing the image for awhile, i would most likely just run and get my telescope anyways. If you have something that views good crisp images at home already, it's going to be very hard for you to downgrade.

years ago, I had a telescope that I bought at Costco hooked up to my PC. I mounted the telescope to my roof and it was motorized and controlled from the PC. Living in a fairly remote area made it perfect for my daughter to explore the stars
Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
          think about that

I wouldn't waste the cash. Like Atom said, you'll end up grabbing the scope anyway.

Aside from that, I can't imagine what a pain in the ass it would be to hold those things steady while trying to keep what you were trying to look at in view.

Yeah a friend who has then said they are quite heavy, and after a few seconds they do become difficult to hold still...

That sounds cool - did you happen to keep any images you saw with that scope? I've always wanted a telescope...

Exactly! Holding heavy binoculars is tiring on your arms and heavy on your neck...

Going to need something on a tripod rather than binoculars.

You could build your own telescope... then you'd have something cool that you built yourself, which makes it even more cool

Lots of info on Google for it
