Yeah... that'll work... I've seen it pulled a couple of times at bars I've tended. The higher the proof of whiskey, the faster the whole process will work.
My fave bar trick, though, is a lot simpler - when you can get someone to fall for it (it helps if they're a bit buzzed)...
You bet them x dollars that they can't stay seated in their bar stool for as long as it'd take you to walk around them three times. You promise you won't touch them or the bar stool in any way. When they agree, you walk around once say "that's one." Walk around a second time and say "that's two... boy, I sure could use a drink." and retire to the bar. Eventually, they'll pay you the cash.-D.

put the card on top of the shot glass and then flip it. my favorite trick was always the exploding beer bottle. you fill a plain old brown beer bottle until itès a couple cm from the top. then you grip it good an solid (make sure you keep yor hand and the bottleneck dry if you can) then with an open palm slam down suare onto the mouthpiece. the bottom of the bottle will blow right out. i saw a vid of it somewhere on the net, and i had to try it at least 50 times before i got a feel for it, but it works... but most bars arent really cool with you smashing beer bottles in their establishment though, so try and find somewhere that you can get away with busting glass. you know, like a playground a or something...Comment
