I was in complete shock when I read this thread yesterday, I'm still in a bit of disbelief today.
I remember going over to Mark's apartment with Loryn when he first arrived in Nor Cal. All the man had was his computer, his guitar and a bottle of Jack. I came to find out this was all he needed to be happy. We should all be so lucky.
A week later again with Loryn we were at Marks apartment to help him unpack and assemble his furniture. A blunt, a bottle of Jack and a bottle of wine... 3 drunk pornographers attempting to use tools to put a couch together. Good times.
Mark once told me that he wasn't really a admin of GFY, he was a the worlds largest daycare provider with 70k+ whiny ass bitches who were never happy.

i want to say something: fact that he was alone (yea I know, no family, a loner kind of guy and all...) disturbes me.
where was his girlfriend ? where were his friends ? friendly neighbers i don't know.
i don't have criticism for someone specific here but I think it very sad the way he died, I didn't know him but he sounds very friendly and loveable - why didn't anyone care enough for him to worry enough ?

I do not think you read what was posted. It was stated that people did go to his house and call him. He did not answer. They had no way of knowing that he had passed away in his home. They just thought he was not in or wanted to be alone. There is no one to blame and people did care about him. Sometimes bad things happen to good people.AZNewGirl.com

Totally nutz. I still can't get over that it took a month for people to find him. I just don't understand how that could happen.
I met him once or twice, never really got to know him. But he seemed like a stand up guy. To all that developed a relationship with him, I'm very sorry for your loss.
