    How Does My Tube Look?

    It's a network tube, for my affiliates to put their trailers on. Just went up this morning. I know that it does not work on Firefox because of the .ogg file thing, does it work properly in Chrome? Explorer? Safari? thanks guys.

                      Worked fine in Safari on a Mac.

                      No ads? (not a criticism, just curious why not) EDIT: <---- Nevermind

                      Might add a little more color. For example, differentiate the search box from the black background by having the data entry section white instead of black, etc.

                      I would make the graphical element of your logo (black heart and devil horns) larger. It looks small to me in proportion to the Home button and magnifying glass search button.

                                                                                          I would try to get a better speed on streams, seems that the play catches up with the Buffering mid clip.

                                                                                                      1. The black heart in the logo is too black, I would prefer a slightly lighter color. It doesn't stand out.
                                                                                                      2. Flashy things. Your site is absent of flashy things and popups. Punters love flashy things which = clicks.

                                                                                                                  Well I try to stream at the original trailers data rate, so prospective members can see the true resolution of the movies of my Partners. But it is on a pretty fast dedicated server. I am only using like 25 percent of my RAM with no swap usage. Got Quick Cache installed as well.But that might be why.

                                                                                                                  Also I have no idea, but my traffic from google has increased like crazy... new update? Network wide, I am now getting 4000-5000 uniques per day, network wide. My goal for next year is 30-40000 uniques per day.

But I just can't justify doing the .ogg thing anymore. The codec is old. Not near as scalable as .mp4. For my particular site, I have 11.3% firefox users. If people want an HD experience, they will have to surf with an HTML5 enabled browser.

                                                                                                                          I love Mozilla, but they are firmly into open source. They still refuse to support .mp4. Same thing happened when people switched from the AVI format, but I hear you. Thank you for the feedback.

                                                                                                                                  I use Firefox and the videos load fine. Play nice and smooth and look great. I didn't encounter any issues at all.

I am running OSX Mavericks and my firefox does not play them. Chrome kills it and so does Safari. I can only assume that Explorer does as well.

My only suggestion would be to work out the load times on videos (with host) to make sure they don't buffer.

                                                                                                                                                              But that would likely be down the road if site takes off.
