I first saw his work in Vice magazine's Big Photo Book a year or so ago. He covered most of the photography under the sex section of the book. I can't say I was overly impressed then, and I can't say I'm overly impressed now. i don't find him particularly edgy and talented at all. he just takes grungy pictures of grungy people and things. That is all. Not quite as provocative as people make him out to be in my opinion...

That's his style. People seem to think it's provocative or something that he takes grungy pictures. I think it's just grungy pictures. The first photos I saw of his were of some worn out prostitutes filming a porno in a sleaze motel. I don't see what's so artsy about only shooting photos that look like they're coming from a crackhouse or a shooting parlor. But hey, who can question a man's "art"?Comment
