    Honestly you guys have let it go to the point of almost no return. You got kids posting retard shit. You got guys with tons of fake nicks who have 0 intent of being here for the good of biz....

    Are the page views and banner impressions really worth it for you???

                                                          To be honest, most of the so called "business" I've received directly from GFY has never been very good. This place has always had trolls and has provided FAR more fun and games than anything else for me.

                                                          The value here has been in getting to know different people and the programs they represent then converting that into actual business at trade shows. The relationships I've built in this industry are primarily from face to face interactions.

                                                          I love GFY, old school as well as the current state of things.

                                                                  other than that is fine. i've checked all existing webmasters forums (mainstream ones) - none is even close to what gfy is. lots of solid ppl still visit this place. but again, there should be some bargains for rogue trolls

Most of the money is being pocketed by a few large companies who don't need this board. So with no serious money to be made, no serious moneymakers are gonna waste time here. For all it's negatives and complaints over the years this place is still standing and it's still where most people go when they have a serious issue. I think it has to be balanced. There are some people here who I am sure want to make it so you have to be a bro (or work for a bro) to post here. That's no good. But neither is total anarchy. At least it seems the real hardcore trolls get banned in a month or two in almost every case. And the ignore feature does work great.

                                                                                              I was a moderator at PornCity when it finally closed down. It was a good board. Mayor had free hosting for blogs,Messaging always worked,in most respects it offered more than GFY.

                                                                                              One of the main reasons it did close down was because it was over-moderated. The trolls and harshness is what sells headlines. Look at the thread views. It's the drama threads that always get the views.

                                                                                              Take that away from GFY and it becomes a memory.

Right now you know who those people are and who not to do business with, and this has helped others to NOT be scammed additionally.

                                                                                                                                                                          I'm not sure what is available with VB but if there is a "block" option where you could stop anyone on your block list from seeing your posts and yourself from seeing their posts that might be a great solution. I know I'd like to be able to block several users on here. If that were possible I would post a lot more. Have just barely dipped a toe back in the pool and already see people starting shit.

                                                                                                                                                                          Oh and it is about time to change the youtube options for embed. Specifically the full screen option needs turned on. I know TD had it set like that for a reason way back when, but I think they have taken care of those security issues unless I'm wrong.

Get so used to FB I always want to click like on a post here.
