I think most sites can look good on a tablet.
But of course flash doesn't work on your Ipad nor on the Android tablets. So the trailer vid on the tour would need to be html 5 streaming (which it may be when it sees a "mobile" device for all I know).
And it would just be a lot cleaner and more effective if it were a Responsive site so it would look perfect on your Ipad or on a mini Ipad or on a Nexus7 or on a smart phone.
Why lose any of your audience? Especially one that is growing larger every day (mobile).
