                                                      They should take a page from the tesla playbook and use the electric motors to make a m3 that totally flies. Fuck the range extender and commit. Lugging a fucking lawnmower engine around must reduce the range on the regular batteries so why do it?

                                                                                                          One of the big issues I see with electric cars right now is that they often want you to rent/lease the battery for a montly fee.. a fee so high that you can drive tons of miles in a gas car for the money before you even begin to charge the battery.

                                                                                                                                  The interior of the Tesla was no great shakes. The car freaking rocks but any fully electric car is going to be the bomb versus gas. Instant torque, less moving parts, engines for each wheel, etc. So we are talking about things that the BMW would have too. I think Tesla really has a huge advantage in the battery as that is the only thing that makes sense.

                                                                                                                                      on one side it looks less like other bmw's. but mabe thats a good thing as its moving to a new modern look. more space age.

                                                                                                                                                  So this BMW is close in terms of price to Tesla?
                                                                                                                                                  As far as I assumed most of those electric cars were/are way cheaper than tesla.
