The thing was someone is asking about expos and drugs and I simply wanted to make it TOTALLY clear what I think. as sometimes the pressing of buttons and such could give someone the wrong impression and Im all for people attending shows without them getting the wrong idea

Michael was fined for my business partner just smoking on the stairs at the hotel (ask Michael) so if that had have been weed I can for sure guess the Montreal expo would never have been allowed again and that would have been a huge fuck up!.
if you know shows that it would be a problem to stop the smoking of weed well Montreal is not one of them

BTW this has zero to do with me and a wheelchair. I know at least 100 people here that admitably use many of those drugs listed. Though as I was saying it is and can be a double edged sword. Every single one of those can be and often is taken recreation ally.
You also just mentioned something about injecting. For awhile I was on inject able morphine. Personally I would never do that in public but it could happen. Same with a diabetic. Now you would realize that even asking them what they are doing very well could be an issue?
Lastly you again brought up the pot issue in Montreal, what if one of the thousands here has a valid prescription and is smoking it in a smoking area?Comment

I am fine and my skin is plenty thick and I do not seem to think she insulted me in a wheelchair way. I am not that sort of a gimp, I have no issues when people obviously poke fun. She made a comment about the drugs I use and then added a To me that was no harm no foul. Wee bit unprofessional but a far cry from being rude or insulting.
I entered this whole debate by a VERY bad choice in words and obviously a rule that is damn near unenforceable. It is no secret I am very anti drug laws in the first place. I however do not use any drugs that are not by prescription. Have I ever broken a law and given someone say a Valium or a pain pill when the situation was appropriate, yes.
I asked if you spoke for the company to see if you would actually place them on the hook in the event someone spent a chunk of money to attend a show and security stopped them and barred them from entrance if they had some pills, or worse yet a needle. At least in the US you could end up shit creek over something as silly as that and open yourself, the company you rep, and possibly any sponsors of the event to a very large and embarrassing lawsuit. Particularly if those pills had a valid use, or that needle was used for something as simple as diabetes or as nasty as morphine. Even demanding to know what its for can cause serious issues.
I like your company and I just did not want to see a huge foot in the mouth incident, specially when it seems that most shows are damn near gold medal drinking competitions.Comment

Im a very smart person (or I hope I am) I get paid to understand situations and to think of the task/problem or issue in front of me.
I understand the use of eqipment for medical use and if I was unsure I would ask for a 2nd comment.

Also note that drug use is the least of the shit that goes on at shows, let alone is tolerated.
There has been chairs, pissing in cups in hallways, swimming pool take overs by near naked and naked homosexuals, dual bookings with someones wedding (that may have happened with the swimming pools), lots and lots of hookers, underage drinking, beyond public intoxication, flat out tackles and fights, women getting molested by being groped and much much more. Though I think my favorite was taunting the bible protesters. (please note I do not agree with much of what I posted above, specially what happens to women).Comment
