    Have you ever made a copy of a check and saw "VOID" on it?

    I made a copy of a check for my records before I cashed it and I looked at the copy and it has large grey letters "VOID" on it.. Is that normal? Can't see it on the original paper.

              Yes it very common in checks,money, important documents etc as Chio said its simply to stop counterfeiting
