Well most of these sologirl sites are some guy who's taken 100 sets of photos and 10 videos of a random model and then builds a tour and just rotates those sets of content over and over again. And those suck ass for rebills. The girl isn't even involved.
On the other hand - Michelle Lynn still has members rebilling since 2005 because she does 3 live webcam shows EACH and EVERY week. She's maybe missed 5 shows in 3 years! She also writes in her diary 5 times a week. Plus she answers all her member's emails HERSELF! She gets her members totally hooked on her. You should have seen all the shit they sent her for Christmas this year. LCD Tv's, Laptops, diamonds, video games - I'm kinda mad I don't get a cut of the presents. She's very involved with her site, and it shows with the rebills. I wish I could find 2 more girls like her, but it's rare.

some good some bad. one of my best sponsors for revshare is a sponsor with mainly solo girls. My best ratio is with them and I am avg the most per sale with them. Then I have another sponsor where I have not seen a rebill in a year and their girls are very interactive.

The problem is trying to read between the lines. I think that I am getting better and better at it. The problem in question is the honesty put forth by each sponsor. I recently saw that topic discussed on another board. An amateur housewife site owner mentioned that her site retained so well due to her interactivity, but several other amateur site owners piped in and stated very definitively that their sites' retention did not decrease after discontinuing live chats and web shows. They said the interactivity proved to be a more of a waste of time than anything.Comment

I wonder how many solo girl sites offer non-recurring memberships? I know we do, so that has an impact on our rebill stats; many people sign up again after their non-recurring 40 day, 3 month or 6 month memberships have expired, so they show up as new sales rather than rebills.
I have wondered if our affiliates would prefer us not to offer the non-rebilling options at all; of course, then they'd miss out on the higher price-point sales.
I know saying this is not a good way to sell our program, but honestly as an affiliate I know it's easier to make money with a little bit of traffic promoting PPS programs; as an indie paysite owner, though, we can only offer revshare. I'm sure in the long run we'd make more money if we could shell out more money to affiliates on the initial sale and be done with it, but we can't afford right now to pay out more than we make. As a webmaster, I think that small programs that only offer the revshare option have other incentives (exclusive content, underexposed, better conversion ratios, etc.) to make it worth promoting them.Comment

liz vicious is the one sologirl site i've promoted that really rebills, and has for me personally out rebilled every other site i promote steadily. i've promoted hundreds of them now and RARELY do any of them rebill. As it was said by someone earlier int he thread "most sologirl sites are 100 photosets and 10 videos rortated, with no modle interaction". well, i've been inside well over a hundred members areas and let me tell you, even THAT is a overstatement. your best bet is to find a girl who is really deeply involved in her site. these are the girls who rebill. regular camshows, frequent fresh updates, and interaction with the model is what will retain members.Last edited by Angry Jew Cat - Banned for Life; 03-23-2008, 06:56 PM.Comment

nah - remember I ran an interactive solo girl site for long enough to see what was happening - the retention wasn't as good as I get on DawsonMiller which isn't an interactive site. but i'm sure everybody has different traffic and some do well on one site while another affiliate does shitty with rebills.I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. We rebill extremely well but we have 8 years of content and almost daily updates with a calendar showing what coming up so are members usually stick around awhile.
But I know from experience when starting up new solo girl sites - most new single site starting up just don't have a lot of content. Members can see it all in a week. If they like her they might come back but why stick around for a monthly fee for just a few new photosets or videos?Comment
