I'd recommend reading up on boards about this, try out with some posts on your blog and some tweaking. Then come back and ask for feedback when you are nearer completion of the blog.

I like the layout/colour scheme on both sites, but I would change it up with ilovefatty.com a little bit, to better differentiate it from your other site.

I would also add some more text, and organise it as well...it's kinda all over the place.

Not sure if having banner ads selling skinny teens is such a good idea for a fatty site. Banner ads don't generate too many sales these days anyway (at least in my experience), but I think you'll have better luck with some ads that are the same niche as your site.
