I know of a very successful vegetarian cart that easily does over a thousand a day after fee's and food. Carts in general can be crazy successful, hell so can ice cream trucks and roach wagons.

Its rice, chicken, naan, with white sauce (i think its a mix of ranch and mayo) with hott sauce..or you could get it with chicken and lamb. Alot of food for just 5$

Yup, thats the one we ate at 2 years ago at AdTech. They always had huge lines, even at 4am but it was really some of the best food ever!

Seems high. For instance, the average successful dunkin donuts store will only do about 15000 per week.

I asked the guys how many people come out on a daily basis he is like thur,friday,sat we will do 1200+ customers and the rest of the other days we will do 900-1000 customers a day. Keep in mind place is open close to 24 hours a day

Say at minimum he is serving 900 people everyday x 5$ a platter = 4,500 x 7 = 31,500$ (cash)

They pay for city permit, there is no franchise fees, and expenses are very low. You buy chicken in bulk, naan in bulk, rice in sacks of 60 pound bags

When we were in NYC a few months ago I was convinced that the cart across the street from the hotel was selling heroin or crack.

He had long lines almost all day long and well until the early hours of the morning.
