Conclusion about saving money on energy:

Fuck it, it is completely pointless, there's nothing out there that doesn't require massive amounts of work and or expense. By the time you fuck around and manage to save any money, you could have made more working at some grocery store.

The only one that is still somewhat interesting would be to find a diesel generator and feed it biodiesel. The natural gas generator was interesting, as well, but the upfront cost is ridiculous.

I don't like to be cold or turn everything off all of the time, so fuck the rest of it

PS: Mr. Brass, did it cost you a lot to build your panels? Can you use them without $99999 worth of upconverters or whatever the fuck?

You could always just check your house for ways that it wastes energy like bad seals on doors and windows, a lack of insulation, clogged air filters on forced air heat, leaky pipes or dripping faucets.

Even if better insulating and weatherproofing your house mixed with a few other little things saves you $15-$20 per month on your energy bills, that adds up over time.

Yeah, I am bad about that one, too.. I've been smoking cigarettes again and I hate for the house to fill up with smoke and I don't like to go outside to smoke ... so here I am with a window open and the furnace running

      Sure is damned costly

I need to quit that shit

You will likely be amazed at how much money you would save just quitting smoking.

I know it is easier said than done especially since I have never smoked, but it is true.

My mom smoked about a pack a day for 40 years. She quit in her mid 50's and says it is the best thing she has ever done.

Oh hell yes thug killers are up to around $7 for a pack
I have the vaporizer- a 7.4v one- so that keeps me off of the cigarettes 90% of the time (thank god)
