Heads up to CCbill Affiliates - No credit for rebills.

Earlier I believe I caught this on another one of this guys sites before here. Recently I found another webmaster program which had suspiciously similar wording to the other one which apparently is not giving affiliates credits for rebills.

This shows up in the ccbill program details display:

"Payments for Rebills End After: (Zero) rebills"

Here is one of this persons programs:

    http://www.straponchicks.com/straponaffiliateinfo.htm

In addition to the rebill issue, also notice the traffic leaks, INCLUDING A VERY PROMINENT (before the join link even) LINK AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE TO AEBN WHICH YOU GET NO CREDIT FOR and a mailing list.

There does not seem to be any mention of no credit for rebills. Only this is stated on the affiliate signup page:

As an affiliate of Strapon Chicks you can earn 50% of all sales you refer to us.
This also looks like another of his programs (I think he has several) :

    http://www.strapittome.com/straponaffiliateinfo.htm

Might want to watch out and double check all your ccbill programs for this guy. He has other programs too I am sure.

Are you positive that is what it means when it says that in the affiliate admin about rebills?

A few weeks back the same issue came up with what looks like another of this guy's programs. I asked the same question because I recall years back it was blamed on a glitch. However the general consensus from most answering me was that no, you do not get credit for rebills when it states: "Payments for Rebills End After: (Zero) rebills". But I haven;t seen ccbill comment on it yet myself.

Hold on and I will find that thread and link to it.

Here's the other thread where I asked before about this. Some said you get credit, others say no.

          http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...yments+Rebills

It looks like it might be the same webmaster who also owns this one. The wording on the site is suspiciously simular and it also has the same 0 rebill status:

          http://www.pigtailcuties.com/affiliateinfo.htm

I will say that these are the only programs I have ever recently came across with that status.

Anyone from CCbill here to confirm or deny?

Shouldnt you possibly have contacted ccbill either by email or phone before posting what you did and possibly saying something very negative about someones program and telling people to switch links and that they are not getting paid before you got solid proof?

Don't push traffic to him until you know for sure. I think the leaks are bad.

We do 50% - 60% for all initials and rebills forever. I also encourage affiliates to check how much a site is charging (50% of a $3.00 trial is not interesting) If a serious affiliate wants to take a peek inside a member area to see how well the site is built to retain then I have no problem with that either.
I am very confident that an affiliate with good target traffic will make more with us then a standard PPS.

Here is the link where I asked here and was told by others that it meant no credit on March 3rd and where I asked if anyone from ccbill could provide an answer.

Most people upon seeing it would think the same thing.

The AEBN link alone is horrible alone. It has the focus, is at the top of the page, and is in a different color in order to standout. The mailing list I can overlook but not that.

Very old post from 2006 about this issue

                        http://www.gfy.com/showthread.php?t=560571

General consensus is that it means no rebills. People claim different answers from ccbill. Time to lay this to rest to bring some closure so we know once in for all, in public.

If it was unlimited rebills it would say this in your CCBill affiliate admin under the "Program Details" view tab.

Recurring Subscriptions: Payments for Rebills End After: (Unlimited) rebills

If it has a "Zero" in place of "Unlimited", that means no rebills are paid on.

If it said "Four", it would pay on the first 4 rebills, and so on.

Yes. This is what most people think.

But then others claim no, you do get credit.

                              Zero rebills = 0 rebills

I've been a victim of this "glitch" and that's what it showed for me.

I confirmed with ccbill, it does mean no rebills so you were right. I personally would do just that and confirm things before starting potential drama when you are not sure.

Though I would not go for it, and I hate traffic leaks. That persons TOS does seem to cover it in a somewhat possibly vague manor.

I see what you are saying but the first time it happened I refrained from posting the name of the sponsor until others said it was cheating and asked me to post the sponsor so that they could check if they are promoting his sites.

The two I just posted today appear to be from the same person.
