Eminem's newest single came out yesterday -- The Monster, featuring Rihanna.

Pretty good for what it is, his first real mainstream song off his new album, should get a lot of radio play. Him and Rihanna make a good team once again, as she sings a super catchy chorus.

I am not a fan of Rhianna. Mostly because, to my ears, she sings the same tune every time. That said, I like his parts and I get that he needed a club song and this will be it and I am sure there is a dance mix following behind it. I know that from the stuff he has put out already, I want to hear the rest of the album.

I don't care how hot she is. I don't like her music. I used to love Eminem, but like Nico said, his style is just pure garbage now. Actually has been for the last 10 years probably.

Did you listen to Rap God or any of Bad Meets Evil?

He has to put out songs that will sell albums to the masses, but if you listen to the other songs, besides those 2-3...he's still lighting it on fire.

Terrible song. 2 completely different artists performing on the same song with parts that don't even fit. It's lame and I bet they were never even in the studio together.
Yes she is hot but wtf does that matter when you are discussing the music?

rap god - dont like it. Same choppy annoying rapstyle and a horrible beat to boot.
listened to some tracks of bad meets evil when it came out, it's ok but not something i'd play.

new stuff i like is la coka nostra for instance. Got a recent C-Bo album which i like (not as good as his old stuff but still decent). Also keep discovering old stuff, for instance im listening now regularly to guru's jazzmataz albums and a hidden gem of an album from the 2 guys of SCC from '94.

O yea, BG Knocc Out (from eazy-e), after years in jail, also released a new album a while ago. Loved his style back then, so I was very skeptical after so many years. Was caught by surprise - i love it! Compare this to the crap song above: (edit: don't be put off by the lame album cover ;) )
