Hello there. My name is Dave and I currently live in an apartment!.....my roomates sister had her kids taken away and my roomie is the next of kin so she has kindly asked me to move as she will need room for 2 little girls so I need to move ASAP so these poor kids will have a decent place to live...they deserve it!!
right now I am willing to move ANYWHERE in MASSACHUSETTS.Of course I would rather find a place "close" to home here but I also keep thinking that a cahnge might be a great thing!!I dont currently have a car but the bus is just fine.Im used to getting around walking just as well also.
.My roomie that I have now took a chance with me and says Im the best roomate shes EVER had.She would tell you Im quiet,clean,dont have dumpy friends and I RESPECT those that are around me.Ive been here I think about a year and not one problem has risen in the ENTIRE time Ive been here.Right now things are REALLY tough!! Im just asking PLEASE for a chance that not many people dont want to give.I dont party(except perhaps on a holiday or a very boring Friday night. and have only have a few people that would be stopping by for a quick beer(on RARE occasion) or maybe a movie.

I was just a 19 year old kid and I dated a 15 year old girl.The only reason I was convicted was the underage issue...this was NOT some vicious cold hearted crime. Ive got to be completely honest and inform you that I am a registered sex offender.This has caused me to be UNable to find sufficient housing.I got the minimum penalty the law allowed as she came forward and explained that the relationship was consentual so it was a STATUARY crime.We actually had a 3 year VERY loving relationship before this all came about! Yes,unfortunately she was just about to turn 18 when it happened. She even begged me to stay with her after all the legal issues were out of the way.So I HOPE you have an open mind and can see it for what it is.
I am a carpenter and stained glass artist..I currently have 2 ruptured disks in my lower back that need an operation.I also have torn all the ligaments in my right hand and have an expected heal time of 6-8 months.
I collect SSI so its POSITIVE PERMANANT income and its obviously guranteed so there would NEVE be a problem with payments.
I am very mellow and quiet and I enjoy all outdoor things like hiking,biking,swimming,tanning,rollerblading and just about ANYTHING outdoors.I am also a dealer on ebay with 18th and 19th century porcelaine,pottery,sterling silver,china and a variety of other Antique items. So..please think very carefully while you consider and I can promise you I would be the quietest and most frindly tenant you will find.

ummm, I have a feeling the Irish were celebrating it for quite a while.

What people were doing in 400 AD doesnt really have anything to do with "Americanized/Romanzed" holidays... i mean, if we go there, first off, he wasnt irish, his name wasnt patrick, he was also a PAGAN...

The Irish celebratedthe day he came to ireland and his death, ... im not going to get into holiday facts here... but it was more about the life and death of the man, not what we have here in the US.

The "Holy Day' as we know it today has little or nothing to do with anything 1000 years ago...

It's a day to celebrate St. Patrick, yes... but I think it's the Irish themselves who have turned it into a drunkfest.

What does the day mean to me personally? Well... as kids we used to make shamrocks (basically 4-leaf clovers called shamrocks) out of clay, let them dry, paint them green, and give them to our mothers. In class we talked of all things "Irish"... leprechauns, leaning over the edge of a cliff and kissing something called "The Blarney stone", pots of gold at the end of rainbows, etc. And we wore green.

As I grew older (old enough to drink) it became clear that those celebrating this day used it mainly as an excuse to get shit-faced. Beer vendors sold special green beers, pubs full (moreso than usual) of drunk horny women, drunk horny guys, some wearing large buttons that say such eloquent phrases as "Kiss me I'm Irish".... and we wore green.


These days I celebrate the Irish part of my own heritage. If anyone doesn't like it (like St. Patrick for example) they can kiss me looky charms.

The Shamrock was used by "Saint Patrick" to explain the "Holy Trinity" so no matter how its been changed by schools and families, Shamrocks are now just a symbol on the beer bottle... but its really a reminder of Christ, the Holy Ghost, and God.

You are mistaken.

Beer can, and does, occur naturally.

Granted, there is a process involved... some stalk of wheat falls down, and hits a puddle of water... which it sits in for the next day or two as the wild yeast settles on to start consuming the sugars as the surrounding foliage contribute to the bittering of the fermented liquid...

It's an entirely natural process... even if man's intervention does help yield a much better product.

Fruit in australia, especially mangos, undergo a natural fermantation process.

It is not a "Holy Day" in the USofA.

All I know is I'm about 1/4 Irish, and I'm perfectly happy hoisting a mug on St. Patrick's day in honor of that part of my heritage, as is tradition.
